I am a PhD candidate in Economics at Bocconi University. During the whole academic year 2023/2024 I will be a Visiting Research Collaborator at Princeton University. During my graduate studies, I have served as Consultant for the International Monetary Fund. My research interests lie at the intersection of Finance and Development, and my current research mainly focuses on the regulation of financial technologies in developing countries. For my Job Market Paper, I collaborate with the Central Bank of Uganda to study how the introduction of a tax on Mobile Money transactions has affected financial inclusion. In previous research, I also covered topics in labor economic, with a special focus on Migration and Gender economics. Please check my website to know more about my work!
